SmartDrive Systems releases latest version of its video analytics program

SmartDrive Systems enhances its video analytics platform

SmartDrive Systems has announced the latest release of its video analytics platform and safety program.

Enhancements to the platform include extended recording, enhanced coaching workflow, and more access to videos. According to the company, this new version is aimed at creating a higher ROI for fleets. Unlike other solutions, accessing the new SmartDrive capabilities does not require a costly “rip and replace” of existing hardware and back-end systems, according to the company. Leveraging the platform’s open, extensible architecture, all of the enhancements are available to customers within their existing solution footprint.

“Our singular focus is helping fleets be safer and more successful with video analytics. With this new release, SmartDrive delivers innovation that offers more—more protection, more insight, more access and more impact to a fleet’s bottom line,” said Steve Mitgang, SmartDrive’s chief executive officer. “We believe there has never been a better time to add video safety from SmartDrive. Whether by reducing collision frequency, exonerating drivers, enforcing compliance procedures or lowering fuel costs, video with robust transportation intelligence is a game-changer for fleets everywhere.”
