Snap-on offers MG725 1/2-in. impact wrench

Snap-on said its MG725 1/2-in. impact wrench offers power, durability, balance and good looks. Features include: 1,190 ft.-lb. bolt-breakaway torque; 810 ft.-lb. working torque; one-piece precision machined magnesium housing for a durable, lightweight, balanced unit with minimal vibration yielding less user fatigue. Additionally, an eight-vane rotor provides faster motor start up and greater performance with more torque; a single-chamber motor provides greater power and speed to remove stubborn bolts; and a muffler kit reduces noise for quiet performance so technicians can work longer with less auditory strain.

A cushion-grip ribbed handle cover resists most shop chemicals and is easily field replaced, according to Snap-on. The grip also helps insulate tool from cold and reduces vibration. The tip valve trigger provides increased airflow and greater tool control, plus the twin hammer impact mechanism is durable and hard-hitting, the company related. The anvil stops when the trigger is released and prevents the anvil from throwing nuts and sockets.
