Dometic offers remanufactured auxiliary air conditioning systems

Dometic said it now offers remanufactured auxiliary HVAC units for truck sleepers. The units, which come with a one-year warranty and are backed by the company’s nationwide service network, operate on 115-volt AC power and work with most types of auxiliary power units, as well as shorepower hookups. The combination cooling-heating units provide 14,000 BTUs/hr. of cooling and 2.5 kilowatts of heating capacity.

Horton’s PolarForce Two-Speed Fan Drive Conversion Kit, which costs less than a new fan drive, allows users to retrofit a DM Advantage or DriveMaster On/Off Fan Drive to two-speed fan drive technology. Horton’s patented two-speed fan drive alternates between eddy current and spring-actuated cooling for precise, highly efficient temperature control and reduced operating noise. When additional cooling is needed, the fan drive spring-actuates and runs the fan at full input speed.
