Yokohama Tire to adjust prices on commercial and OTR tires
The company’s light- and medium-duty commercial truck tires will increase by up to 6%, while off-the-road tires will increase by up to 5%, effective Jan. 1. There will be in-line adjustments, as well, which will be announced at a later date.

Cooper Tire’s Roadmaster RM180 has been added to the SmartWay Transport Partnership’s list of verified low rolling resistance tires. In addition to improved fuel economy due to low rolling resistance, the tire features a decoupling groove to provide even wear an a cool-running base compound, plus four-belt construction, to deliver long tread mileage.

Continental HSR2 (Heavy Steer Regional), HSR1 and HSR truck tires were recently verified by SmartWay as low rolling resistance truck tires. The HSR2 features an improved cut and chip resistant tread compound, a protective curb rib and VAI + system of visual alignment and tread depth indicators.
