IPA introduces SuperMUTT

Innovative Products of America announced a new and improved version of its popular Mobile Universal Trailer Tester (MUTT), which the company said is the latest solution to time consuming and often inaccurate testing of trailer circuits and air braking system. It is an advanced diagnostic tool utilizing two Group 31 batteries that can quickly test and identify all trailer lighting functions (i.e. cross circuits, short circuits, and open circuits) and air brakes, the company added.

Ingersoll Rand launches next-gen air compressors

Ingersoll Rand has launched several models in its reciprocating air compressor line, extending its offering of Type-30 air compressors. The models are reciprocating two-stage air compressors from 5 to 20 HP. Compressed air packages are available for everything from intermittent load demand to applications that require a heavier-duty cycle. The latest release features more offerings with factory-fitted options for the entire spectrum of use, the company said.

Mohawk lift now has scale

Mohawk announced its weight gauge, a scale on the lift, is available for all of its two-post and mobile column lifts from 7,000 lb. to 30,000 lb. capacities. The gauge shows the weight being lifted by each column or the entire load, the maker noted.

Ingersoll Rand launches rotary screw air compressors

Ingersoll Rand, a supplier of compressed air technology and vehicle service tools and equipment, said it has launched several new models in its rotary screw air compressor line. Models include the 5- to 15-HP, the 15- to 50-HP and the Nirvana variable-speed drive 7.5- to 40-HP rotary screw air compressors.

Nirvana rotary screw compressors have low power consumption at start-up, full-load and part-load conditions; delivering energy savings of up to 35% compared to competitive models, the company said. Component integration is enhanced by the IntelliDrive integrated variable-speed drive (VSD) power system.

Snap-on features heavy-duty prybars

Snap-on Tool Co. said its heavy-duty 48-in. and 54-in. striking prybars with crown handle (SPBH series) offer increased reach, which means less bending and reaching with your body. Stronger and larger components reduce the chance of off center strikes, which is important when using a heavy prybar in one hand and a heavy hammer in the other, according to Snap-on. The maker added the heavy-duty prybars also feature a handle where two large hands can be comfortably positioned when high leverage is needed, combining ergonomics, performance and durability.

Ingersoll Rand launches Garage Mate compact compressor

Ingersoll Rand, a maker of compressed air technology and vehicle service tools and equipment, has launched the Garage Mate compact compressor.

The compressor is designed for users who need high performance, but where space is at a premium, the manufacturer said. It delivers air for impact guns, ratchets, grinders, drills, nail guns, paint sprayers, sanders and more.

Snap-on offers MG725 1/2-in. impact wrench

Snap-on said its MG725 1/2-in. impact wrench offers power, durability, balance and good looks. Features include: 1,190 ft.-lb. bolt-breakaway torque; 810 ft.-lb. working torque; one-piece precision machined magnesium housing for a durable, lightweight, balanced unit with minimal vibration yielding less user fatigue.

Additionally, an eight-vane rotor provides faster motor start up and greater performance with more torque; a single-chamber motor provides greater power and speed to remove stubborn bolts; and a muffler kit reduces noise for quiet performance so technicians can work longer with less auditory strain.
