Polar Corp. said its NexGen MC-331 highway transport is the first trailer in its product line for the North American propane industry. The new model features a powder-coated barrel, which will deliver up to three times the life of traditional paint.

Freight Wing introduces chassis side skirts

For intermodal operators, Freight Wing is now offering chassis side skirts for 46-ft. trailers, and for most other chassis in various lengths. The new skirts are designed to clamp onto chassis I-beams below where the intermodal box is situated to keep the two-piece side skirts intact and free from damage during loading.

Volvo Trucks expands support capabilities in southeast

Investments by Volvo Trucks dealers throughout the southeastern U.S. have resulted in a nearly 21% increase in work capacity in that region since January 2010. During this time, the dealer network added 214 service bays and 230 Volvo-certified technicians while expanding parts inventory by more than 20%.
