Bridgestone radials designed for severe service
Bridgestone said its new M860 all-position on/off-highway radials deliver outstanding tread life, durable beads and sidewalls and retread ability. M860 radials are engineered for refuse and other severe-service trucks, and to carry extremely heavy loads, even at sustained 65-mph highway speeds.
PSI adds marks to MTIS hoses
Pressure Systems International added clearly identifiable markings to the flexible valve stem connection hoses of the Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS) by PSI. The new look incorporates a yellow stripe and the PSI name so they can be clearly recognized as proprietary MTIS hoses.
Yokohama to debut new truck tire
Yokohama Tire Corp. is launching the 703ZLË™ tire at the Technology & Maintenance Council’s annual meeting and trade show Feb. 6-8 in Tampa, Fla. The 703ZL is part of Yokohama’s Z.environment line, which the company says uses high technology to make tires that cause less of an environmental impact.

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. and its subsidiary Oliver Rubber Co. introduced a specialty application tread – the APWs. This new tread features a technologically advanced tread compound called Tri-Cor, the company said.
International using Double Coin brand tires
China Manufacturers Alliance LLC (CMA) announced an agreement with International Truck and IC Corp., both Navistar Cos., to begin placing Double Coin brand radial tires on several platforms of International-built Class 4-8 vehicles and IC Corp. buses, effective immediately.
