TE Connectivity Ltd. has received the Category Partner award from Cummins Inc. for superior service, quality and value. The Cummins Category Partner award recognizes overall supplier performance and commitment to deliver value. TE was recognized specifically for its high-performance under-valve cover harness, or injector head harness, designed for harsh conditions.

TE’s harness solution includes Raychem wire to safely deliver power to fuel injectors as well as other TE products that can endure high heat, oil and vibration. The harness is used in Cummins’ 12- and 15-liter heavy-duty diesel and natural gas engines for on-highway vehicles in North America.

“We are honored to receive this coveted award from Cummins,” said Aaron Stucki, senior vice president and general manager of TE’s industrial and commercial transportation business. “Cummins engines are known for high-quality, performance and extraordinary reliability and because of this, it was critical to design a reliable solution where failure is not an option. This award is a result of our close collaboration to deliver a robust and rugged product for the ever-evolving requirements of heavy-duty commercial vehicles.”
