Tenneco expands Monroe commercial vehicle line

The 2007 Monroe Commercial Vehicle catalog has 71 new part numbers and 285 new interchanges to its application-engineered Monroe Gas-Magnum 60, Gas-Magnum 65 and Monro-Magnum 70 shock absorbers product lines. Manufactured and marketed by Tenneco Inc., Monroe Gas-Magnum and Monro-Magnum shocks feature application-engineered designs for commercial vehicle applications.

Manufactured and marketed by Tenneco Inc., Monroe Gas-Magnum and Monro-Magnum shocks feature application-engineered designs for commercial vehicle applications.

This latest expansion provides coverage for popular late-model, heavy-duty applications, including the newest International models, the company said. Within the new part numbers include some more popular coverage for the following applications: 2006-07 International Pro-Star series Class 8 Tractors with leaf spring, FRONT (Gas-Magnum 65 p/n 65157 and 65158);

2006-07 International Pro-Star series with air suspension FRONT (Gas-Magnum 65 p/n 65498 and 65499); 2005-07 Kenworth T600 series/2005-07 Peterbilt 387 series with composite spring interchanges to 665858, FRONT (Gas-Magnum 65 p/n 65159); 2005-07 Kenworth T600 & T2000 series with AG400 air spring suspension REAR (Gas-Magnum 65 p/n 65523); 2004-07 Bluebird WanderLodge bus FRONT and REAR (Monro-Magnum 70 p/n 74437 and 74438).

Monroe Gas-Magnum shocks help enhance vehicle control and driver comfort by delivering a smooth, self-adjusting ride in a full range of road and load conditions. Monroe Monro-Magnum 70 shock absorbers are engineered to deliver a firm, controlled ride for stability and improved driver comfort, even with severe use and high mileage, the company said.

Monroe Gas-Magnum 60 and 65 shocks are covered by Tenneco’s 90-day “Free Ride” trial offer as well as a two-year/200,000-mile warranty. Monro-Magnum 70 shocks are covered by a one-year/100,000-mile warranty.
