Thermo King announced the all-new T-Series of temperature control units for straight trucks. With extensive testing completed, the new units will be launched at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville this week. The first of the new units will be available for order at your local Thermo King dealer beginning this May.

The T-Series was developed to provide customers with improved performance, new state-of-the-art features and a lower life cycle cost that makes a real difference on the bottom line. Thermo King customers are the driving force behind the ongoing innovation that led to the T-Series, so it was only natural that their input played a key role in the development of these new units. Time and time again, customers asked for cost and fuel savings, improved reliability and performance, quieter, cleaner operation, and that they are easier to use and service. Thermo King listened, and the result is the T-Series.

Here are just a couple examples of what’s new and improved:

  • The new T-Series symbolic interface with SR-2 controller features durable LED technology and helps to ensure the correct parameters are set for every load, regardless of the language spoken by the driver
  • Customers can choose between the time-tested reciprocating compressor or the new scroll compressor, which boasts added technology for improved reliability, higher capacity and greater fuel efficiency

Units available include the T-500R, T-600R, T-800R and T-1000R with reciprocating compressors and the T-600, T-800, T-1000, T-800 SPECTRUM multi-temperature and T-1000 SPECTRUM multi-temperature with new scroll compressor technology.
