Transfer Flow debuts new Ford and GM replacement fuel tank systems

Transfer Flow has debuted a new 50-gal. replacement fuel tank system for Ford’s 2018 F-150 Power Stroke diesel, and a new 55-gal. replacement fuel tank system for 2017-19 GM/Chevy 2500/3500 diesel pickups.

Transfer Flow also announced the company’s first project vehicle, The Compass. The company describes the Compass as follows: “a 2018 Ford F-150 Power Stroke diesel designed to be the ultimate family adventure vehicle featuring the new Transfer Flow 50-gal. replacement tank, a custom 40-gal. fuel tank and tool box combination system, and all the creature comforts to make the journey as enjoyable as the destination and family memories that will last a lifetime.”

Coastal Waste & Recycling took delivery of its first battery-electric refuse vehicle, the Mack LR Electric model. Mack executives handed over the vehicle during an e-mobility event with the company in Pompano Beach, FL.

Mack tells us that the Coastal Waste & Recycling LR Electric is equipped with an automated side loader. The two companies worked together to develop favorable routing for the LR Electric to ensure that the refuse truck will complete a full day’s work in residential and certain specialized commercial applications.
