The processes that make truck dealers great partners

The processes that make truck dealers great partners

Right now, with supply chain challenges continuing and new equipment order boards as tight as they are, a great truck dealer relationship is worth its weight in productive truck equipment gold. Leveraging partnerships gets work done and keeps you ahead of your competition. There’s a lot that goes into it. You have to find the right balance of a dealer you can trust and one that gets the job done right.

It was that balance that was the focus in my conversation with Mark Dysarz, senior manager, dealer operations, Hino Trucks, and Doug White, Certified Ultimate program manager, Hino Trucks, during the Hino Trucks National Parts Conference, held earlier this year. I had the opportunity to take to the stage a host a heap of live podcasts with the Hino Trucks crew, and suppliers like Hendrickson, Cummins and more. This is the first of several more conversations to come. Watch the video above for all of the insight.

"At Daimler Truck, we've been working on zero emission transformation for the last several years, and we are at the point where we have several battery electric vehicle models that are in series production today. We have 10 [electric truck] models in production globally and four in production in the United States. Having said that, at least from our perspective, the transformation is slower than what we would expect and what we would hope."
