Truck driver workflow technology, detailed

Within the well-established ELD era, the next truck driver-focused technology mile marker seems to be planted firmly on the road to streamlining workflow beyond hours-of-service. At this year’s ATA MC&E, there was plenty of focus on how the driver interacts with the truck digitally–from digital vehicle inspection reports and logging lunch and break to integrating apps into the truck’s digital tablet environment to enable advanced workflow solutions.

For fleet managers, that means collecting truck driver operation data points along with the necessary documents (logs, inspections) and creating a digital environment that allows you to see the ROI by reducing legwork and guesswork. For a hands-on tour of a digital truck driver workflow environment, I stopped by the ISAAC booth at MC&E and talked with Scott Nunnari, business development manager, ISAAC. Watch the video above for all the technology driven insight.
