Truck-Lite enters lighting equipment, trailer telematics agreement with Star Leasing

Truck-Lite Co. LLC has entered an agreement with Star Leasing Co. to supply LED lighting and harnessing products as standard equipment on new trailer builds and to integrate the Road Ready telematics system into the fleet’s new and existing trailers.

Launched in 2017, the company says Road Ready by Truck-Lite offers fleets an overview of a trailer’s environment, both inside and out, using a variety of customizable wireless sensors.

Through the agreement signed in late December 2019, Star Leasing will install the Road Ready Master Control Unit (MCU) along with cargo, door and ABS warning sensors on its 20,000+ trailers between 2020 and 2021 and specify Truck-Lite lighting and harnessing solutions on new trailer builds.
