The truck is the first thing a client sees when their load rolls onto the lot, and you know what they say about first impressions. When a truck is new, there’s not much to worry about when it comes to paints and finishes, but the road is long and a truck’s work is hard. Dings, scratches, accidents—they all happen. When they do, refinishing is of the utmost importance.
To better understand fleet needs, Sherwin-Williams recently conducted a trucking industry survey that noted that one of the most important aspects on which paint suppliers deliver is color match. It makes sense; like the rolling billboard analogy, truck color often matches logo color requirements.
On the other hand, do you know what the biggest challenge that fleets face with paint suppliers was?
For that answer, you’ll have to watch the video above where I connect with Nick Dowling, product manager–commercial refinish with Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes, to talk through the survey results and get a better understanding of how fleets can work with paint suppliers to meet their refinishing expectations.
