Utility Tri-State relocates dealership to Oklahoma

Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co. and Tautliner curtainsided trailers have announced that Utility Tri-State, Inc. has relocated its Siloam Springs, Arkansas dealership to West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma. The new dealership is approximately 53,000 sq. ft. It features eight interior service bays, including one service bay outfitted with roof-work scaffolding to help increase speed and safety, as well as eight covered exterior service bays. In addition, the new facility includes 9,000 sq. ft. of storage and retail space, and with more than 3,000 sq. ft. devoted to offices and a new drivers’ lounge. The property sits on 10 acres of cement and gravel parking to house additional trailers.

PACCAR has introduced the new TX-12 Pro automated transmission for Class 6-7 and light Class 8 vocational applications. The company says it builds upon the existing PACCAR TX-12 transmission.

Currently, the new transmission is available with select Kenworth Class 8 models, including the T680 and T880 equipped with the PACCAR MX-11 or PACCAR PX-9 engines. Later this year, the transmission will be available in Kenworth Class 6-8 medium duty models, including the T280, T380, and T480 equipped with the PACCAR PX-9 engine.

Even when seasonally adjusted, ACT says preliminary order numbers for February are up 5% over January.
