Vehicle Inspection Systems (VIS) was awarded a contract to supply the state of Colorado with three Portable Brake Tester units. The VIS team plans to install the portable brake testers no later than September.

The state of Colorado has chosen the VIS Performance Based Brake Tester portable unit for the flexibility of conducting inspections at weigh scales. Additionally, the state can move the equipment to different testing locations throughout the state.

“We first began working with the state in 2013 and are excited that the state of Colorado has chosen our equipment,” said Mark Keegans, vice president of VIS. “VIS looks forward to having these units deployed throughout Colorado.”
