WABCO Holdings Inc., global supplier of braking control systems and other advanced technologies that improve the safety, efficiency and connectivity of commercial vehicles, announced the availability of an expanded range of advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) retrofit kits. The announcement was made at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2020.

Now available for several additional applications, WABCO OnSide retrofit kits enable fleets to enhance the safety of existing equipment by adding blind spot detection technology, the company stated. This radar-based system supports drivers in all visibility conditions by providing a warning when it detects a moving vehicle within a 160-degree arc in the adjacent passenger-side lane. WABCO also offers OnGuardACTIVE and OnLane ADAS retrofit kits for an array of popular vehicle applications.
