Western Products has recently announced the launch of its new and improved website featuring a better foundation, a more user-friendly layout and enhanced navigation.

Specific upgrades to the new WESTERN site include: 

  • A better foundation with fixed technical issues, improved load times for faster page speed and enhanced ADA compliance. 
  • A restructured homepage that includes a quick links header for important tools and resources.
  • An improved navigation that acts as a guided selling tool, directing users to the correct product solution.
  • Modernization of product pages, including breadcrumb navigation, highlighted specifications and a simplified photo and video gallery.

Coastal Waste & Recycling took delivery of its first battery-electric refuse vehicle, the Mack LR Electric model. Mack executives handed over the vehicle during an e-mobility event with the company in Pompano Beach, FL.

Mack tells us that the Coastal Waste & Recycling LR Electric is equipped with an automated side loader. The two companies worked together to develop favorable routing for the LR Electric to ensure that the refuse truck will complete a full day’s work in residential and certain specialized commercial applications.
