Take a stroll through ZF’s technology packed trailer

The next wave of truck technology spilled out of the TMC show floor and flowed out in front of the hall as the ZF technology trailer rolled up to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. From the latest in service and support to a demo of ZF’s TrailerCAST, a telematics technology that offers connectivity services for fleets, there was plenty to see as you stroll through the trailer. So come along on this photo- and video-laden tour.

Taking a look at the latest in ZF trailer telematics

Call it a coming out party for ZF’s new Commercial Vehicle Solutions division, the integration of ZF and WABCO technology was on full display. TrailerCAST was a great example of that. It provides GPS position tracking and critical issue alerts, as well as optimized planning of key maintenance cycles, all engineered to interpret and broadcast critical insights to help keep trailers on the road.

“ZF’s TrailerCAST system supports fleets with critical fleet intelligence and real-time vehicle insights to maximize uptime, which enables greater productivity and efficiency,” said Nicola Zingraf Bolton, head of digital solutions, ZF Commercial Vehicle Solutions, Americas.
