Dometic offers remanufactured auxiliary air conditioning systems

Dometic said it now offers remanufactured auxiliary HVAC units for truck sleepers. The units, which come with a one-year warranty and are backed by the company’s nationwide service network, operate on 115-volt AC power and work with most types of auxiliary power units, as well as shorepower hookups. The combination cooling-heating units provide 14,000 BTUs/hr. of cooling and 2.5 kilowatts of heating capacity.

Red Dot to distribute battery-powered aftermarket A/C systems

Red Dot now offers Sleeping Well battery-powered auxiliary air-conditioning systems through its network of warehouse distributors in Canada and the United States. The all-electric A/C systems are sold as complete aftermarket installation kits that fit almost any commercial vehicle. The systems maintain a cool, comfortable cab and sleeper environment while the truck engine is turned off, burning no fuel and producing no emissions and little noise. In addition, they require no regular maintenance.

Thermo King launches PrimAir products

Thermo King has added a new group of products to its growing line of PrimAir air management systems. Joining the brand’s current lineup of standard return air bulkheads, the following products are now available at Thermo King dealers:

Heavy-duty return air bulkheads offer material strength and thickness for maximum durability for the most demanding applications, such as dairy product transportation, according to the company.

Thermo King launches V-520 system

Thermo King has introduced the V-520 vehicle-powered temperature control system for small trucks, available now for ordering through its North American dealers.

The system features the new Direct Smart Reefer (DSR) controller, a microprocessor control for direct-drive systems. The system includes SmartPower electric standby to save fuel and cut emissions, and large capacity and airflow, according to Thermo King.

CarrierWeb launches two-way reefer control solution

CarrierWeb, a mobile communication and information management service provider, announced the launch of the ReeferMate control solution, a refrigeration monitoring and control technology. The solution offers real-time, two-way communication and enables fleet managers to monitor, manage and control all reefer assets from anywhere, the company said.

StarTrak’s ReeferTrak now available with dual mode cellular/satellite communications capability

StarTrak Systems, a subsidiary of Alanco Technologies Inc., a maker of transport refrigeration wireless monitoring and control systems, has introduced the ReeferTrak RT6000 wireless monitoring and control system with dual mode communications.
