The OEM Business Unit of Webb Wheel Products has been honored by Great Dane Trailers as the first winner of the company’s Supplier of the Year Award in the large vendor category. Great Dane inaugurated the Supplier of the Year Award in 2013, establishing criteria to score its top 100 suppliers for recognition.
The OEM Business Unit of Webb Wheel, which supplies hubs and brake drums to Great Dane, was among the top 14 companies in the large vendor category to score above 90% on initial surveys conducted at each of Great Dane’s eight manufacturing facilities. Webb subsequently compiled the highest grade as the finalists were rated on overall product quality, competitive pricing, timely shipments, accuracy of shipments, packaging, response to problems, cooperation on returns and technical assistance.
