The U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the all-new 2008 Dodge Ram 4500 Chassis Cab is $34,050 and base price for the all-new 2008 Dodge Ram 5500 Chassis Cab is $36,050.  Both include a destination charge of $900.  Dodge’s latest heavy-duty work trucks go on sale this fall.

ArvinMeritor Inc. introduced its RideSentry trailer suspension with a new PinLoc slider locking mechanism. The PinLoc mechanism reduces the potential for incidents by using an angled pin design and an air assist with a parking brake interlock to securely engage the slider pins before the trailer is put in transit, the company said.

Kenworth unveils new lineup of medium-duty models

Kenworth unveiled a new lineup of medium- duty trucks at the Mid-America Trucking Show. It introduced the T370 Class 7, T270 Class 6 and T270 hybrid-electric conventional models and the K260 Class 6 cabover, which joins the K360 Class 7 cabover. The new lineup handles a broad range of diverse applications, including food and beverage distributors, propane and fuel fleets, towing and recovery operators, general construction and landscape firms, and dry, refrigerated and side-curtain van operations.
