According to the maker, Disc-Lock Safety Wheel Nuts are specifically designed to prevent wheel loss from commercial vehicles. The combination of lateral, bending forces and torsional forces on wheels cause the nuts to maintain their clamping force and to lock, keeping the wheels secure on the axle.
