Peterbilt debuts new Model 337

Peterbilt announced its new Peterbilt Model 337 medium-duty truck suitable for pickup and delivery, beverage and food service vocations.

According to the truck maker, the all-new ergonomically designed driver display package features a gauge package that is easy to read, simple to understand and includes key vehicle performance data located at the top of the dash for optimal viewing. An optional GPS system provides navigation in difficult urban environments. Power windows, mirrors and lock switches are located in the new door pad design, and a new HVAC system is said to improve airflow and reduce maintenance costs.

Freightliner Trucks has introduced the new Coronado Severe Duty (SD), which the company said was developed specifically for severe-duty vocational applications.  Available in both set-back and set-forward axle configurations, the company said the new truck improves upon the durability and dependability of Freightliner’s FLD SD with the driver comfort and style of the Coronado, while adding new elements specifically engineered for the vocational market.
