Phillips Industries releases I-Box to aftermarket

Phillips Industries, a supplier and manufacturer of electrical and air brake interface equipment for the commercial vehicle industry, has released to the aftermarket its I-Box, which the company said is designed to handle the expanding electronic requirements of today’s trailers.

This nosebox has a third more working room inside the box that alleviates the wire pinching and pull-out that has become a problem with standard noseboxes on trailers with supplemental systems such as trailer tracking and weigh systems, Phillips noted.

New Q-Box from Phillips Industries has more interior room to organize trailer wires

Phillips Industries has solved the problem with the new Q-Box, which its maker said has 50% more interior room to keep as many trailer wires as required organized and pinch-free. With the new box, mechanics have plenty of room for additional wires and repairs and they no longer have to use “shoulder leverage” to close an overloaded nosebox.

Phillips Industries introduces new coiled air gladhand assembly

The wear and tear on gladhands through coupling and uncoupling increases the potential of loose air brake connections and accidental uncoupling that can lead to costly problems. To prevent this, Phillips Industries recommends changing gladhands every time the coiled air lines are changed.
