Goodyear rolls out updated P&D tire
The Goodyear G661 HAS, a 19.5-in. tire designed for use in pick-up and delivery applications, is now available in a 245/70R19.5, Load Range G version. A 225/70R19.5, also Load Range G, will be available in July 2013.

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. debuted the commercial application of its Air Maintenance Technology at the 2012 IAA Commercial Vehicle Show in Hanover, Germany. The mechanism allows tires to maintain constant, optimum pressure without the use of external pumps, electronics and driver intervention.

The new G392 SSD drive and G394 SST trailer wide-base tires, which feature Fuel Max Technology, are SmartWay-verified. Both feature DuraSeal Technology, a gel-like inner liner that instantly seals punctures of up to 1/4-in. in the repairable area of the tread.
Goodyear unveils deep-tread drive tire with Fuel Max technology
The new G572 LHD drive tire with Fuel Max Technology features 30/32nds of tread, making it the deepest-tread drive tire with SmartWay approval on the market. When used in conjunction with Goodyear Fuel Max steer and trailer tires, operators can expect up to a 4%-plus increase in fuel economy compared with standard Goodyear tires.
