Veyance Technologies Inc., manufacturer of Goodyear Engineered Products, has introduced its TurboBoss line of turbocharger hoses that can be customized to fit nearly any molded configuration. Using layered construction with multiple rubber compounds, the manufacturer noted, the single, custom-molded hoses meet the multifaceted demands of a turbocharger system. The lightweight TurboBoss hose also is easier to install and seal than silicone hoses.
 
“OEMs often buy turbocharger hoses designed to handle temperatures far higher than what is found in many applications,” said Tim Montbach, Veyance marketing manager for heavy-duty OE products. “With TurboBoss, they now have the choice of a variety of hoses using advanced rubber compounds, each designed for a specific hot and cold temperature range for turbocharger air cooling systems.”
