The Ideal-Tridon brand from Ideal Clamp Products now includes the SmartSeal worm gear clamp featuring the patent-pending SmartLiner, a self-compensating spring liner that forms a steady 360-degree seal in response to changing temperatures and vibrational movement.

SmartLiner’s trough-shaped design, according to the company, creates higher pressure loading compared to a conventional worm gear, increasing resistance against leaks. The stainless steel SmartSeal clamp is currently available in sizes covering ranges from 26 mm to 148 mm.
