Kenworth Truck Co. adds T880 sleeper option

The new Kenworth T880 is now available with a 52-in. mid-roof sleeper. The option features a liftable lower bunk and upper storage units on the sleeper’s back wall, including hanging storage. The 52-in. sleeper has 23 in. of room between the seats, and an interior height clearance that enables a driver or passenger up to 6 ft., 4 in. to stand up.

Options on the new 52-in. mid-roof sleeper for the Kenworth T880 include a bunk heater, flat screen TV and premium sound system. Also available is a passenger swivel seat further that expands the living space, and enables the driver to use both the cab and the sleeper when not driving.

The Kenworth T880, designed for vocational heavy haul, dump, flatbed and lowboy applications, is standard with the PACCAR MX-13 engine rated up to 500 HP and 1,850 lb./ft. of torque. The T880 can be ordered with a 116.5-in. BBC hood optimized for the PACCAR MX-13 engine or with a 122.5-in. BBC hood. The new model has a 2.1-meter wide, stamped aluminum cab with triple-sealed doors, a five-piece Metton hood for easier repairs, air-assisted hydraulic clutch, panoramic windshield complex reflector headlamps, and is available with factory-installed lift axles.
