The Coxreels Hose Strain Relief Kit protects hose fittings and connections from potential damage by providing strain relief when the hose is fully extended on the reel. In use, the clamp takes on the force from an over-extended hose and protects fittings and connections at the riser. With the kit, the hose remains secured against the drum allowing it to be routed between the riser connection and the clamp with a proper bend radius.
The new accessory is available for hand crank and motorized reels with hose sizes between ½ and 1-½ in. I.D. Drums on new Coxreels hose reels now feature mounting slots to fit the hose strain relief kit and existing models can be modified.
Coxreels 1195 Series reels line now comes standard with an in-line swivel and a remodeled low profile outlet riser to offer full-flow characteristics and an improved operating pressure range. The series, designed to handle 50 to 125 ft. of 2-in. hose for high volume delivery applications and an increased operating rating up to 1,000 PSI, also now has an in-line electroless nickel plated steel NPT swivel. The swivel is anchored to a solid billet aluminum bearing assembly, the manufacturer noted, to ensure swivel to axle concentricity, proper swivel alignment and improved seal life.
The newly revamped 1195 Series also features a one-piece swept outlet riser to eliminate machined flanges and an o-ring flange seal. In addition, the new style outlet riser has been redesigned to accommodate various thread requirements such as NPT, BSP and NST.
