Apollo Tires adds new EnduRace truck and bus tire size option

Apollo Tires has added a new size option for its EnduRace RD2 truck and bus tires, with the launch of a new 295/80 size option. Available across Europe, Apollo says the new options complements the 315/70 and 315/80 variants of its second-generation EnduRace RD2.

Available for 22.5-inch wheels, Apollo says the EnduRace RD2 excels in all weather conditions and offers optimal rolling resistance, extended mileage and durability.

Manufactured in Europe, Apollo tells us the EnduRace RD2 is suitable for medium- and long-distance transport. The company adds the tire is B-rated for its performance in the wet and is certified for snow grip, bearing the ‘three peak mountain and snowflake’ symbol.

The groove tread pattern on the EnduRace RD2 incorporates Apollo Tires’ ‘Invisible Groove Technology’ and ‘Multi-Edge’ shoulder blocks, which it says optimizes performance on slippery surfaces. A wider contact area affords uniform pressure distribution across the tread to enhance durability and minimize rolling resistance, according to Apollo, who adds the reinforced casing surpasses European regulatory requirements, boasting a durability 1.7 times greater than the industry standard, while also offering impressive tear resistance qualities.
