Fontaine Fifth Wheel catalog features Navistar options

Fontaine Fifth Wheel catalog features Navistar options

A new catalog that simplifies mixing and matching Navistar-compatible brackets and top plates for fifth wheels has been released by Fontaine Fifth Wheel. “We can now provide users with a single source of information for all our Navistar-compatible products,” says Todd Kuipers, key account/marketing manager. “There are more than 150 different top plate and bracket assemblies available and each combination is represented in the catalog with detailed measurements to help ensure a seamless fit.”

The new catalog groups assemblies into three categories:

  • Standard-duty assemblies for on-highway use, including Fontaine’s No-Slack II NT top plate mounted to either the adjustable plate-mount bracket (APB) or the company’s new lightweight outboard slide bracket (LWO).
  • Moderate-duty assemblies used with the Fontaine lightweight bracket (LWB) or adjustable plate mount bracket (PMA), both of which can be fitted with Fontaine’s No-Slack II 6000 top plate or the No-Slack II 7000 and 7000CC.
  • Maximum-duty assemblies for off-highway applications like logging and chip hauling using Fontaine’s stationary short plate mount (PS4) bracket that can be fitted with a No-Slack H5092 top plate.

The catalog also provides a guide to Fontaine’s fifth wheel part numbering system and shows how fifth wheels are measured to simplify the selection process. Additional resources, like Fontaine’s complete assembly brochure, are accessible in the catalog via QR codes.
