WEX (formerly Wright Express) products can now be linked up with Fleetio accounts to automate the fuel reporting process, saving valuable time and giving more control over expenses, according to the company.
With this integration, transactions from the pump show up automatically for each vehicle, generating stats like cost per mile and average fuel economy. The online software also uses updated mileages to trigger reminder emails for maintenance and other important fleet activities.
Fleetio also validates odometer entries from the pump, flagging bad mileages so that users can go back and correct them. This serves as a critical safeguard against bad data, empowering accurate fuel reporting and great decisions, the company said.
