Trail King debuts new conveyor trailer, blade trailer

Trail King  debuted its new Aluminum Hopper Conveyor Trailer at this year’s Mid-America Trucking Show. The company said that the trailer is engineered to perform a variety of applications and variety of settings to help maximize the efficiency and profitability of any farming operation. The stainless steel folding conveyor on the AHTC features 19 ft. of infinite vertical height adjustment and side-to-side swing radius of a full 12 ft., the largest in the industry, allowing the operator to evenly fill equipment without having to move the trailer, the company said.

According to Rick Farris, the company’s vice president of sales and marketing, “the operator can raise or lower this conveyor, or swing it from side to side, using hydraulic controls located at the rear of the trailer.”

“When it comes to safely and effectively transporting a wind tower blade up to 200-ft. in length, specialized carriers look to Trail King,” Farris continued. “Our second generation blade hauler, the TK85EFX, is hydraulically controlled king pin steering, these four- and five-stage trailers can expand to 156 and 178 ft., respectively, to haul today’s larger, longer blades and, yet, still close down to 53 ft. for easy, non-escorted transport when empty.
