Peterbilt now offering PACCAR 20k, 22k standard track axles

Peterbilt announced the availability of the standard track configuration of the PACCAR 20k and 22k Steer Axle in Peterbilt trucks beginning this May.

PACCAR’s heavy-duty steer axles are available on Models 567, 520, 389, 367, 365 and 348 and are available with either disc or drum brakes and allows for a turning radius of up to 50 degrees. According to the company, it is built for demanding vocational applications such as heavy haul, refuse and construction.

“The standard track version of the heavy duty steer axle continues to broaden the proprietary PACCAR offerings for our customers,” said Robert Woodall, Peterbilt’s assistant general manager of sales and marketing. “Providing individualized solutions for our customers is consistent with our brand promise. The standard track PACCAR 20k and 22k axle is one more option that helps our customers configure the best axle for their application.”

The PACCAR 20k and 22k Steer Axle comes standard with a five-year, 750,000 mile warranty.
