LoadHandler Power Products has introduced a new line of brushed alternators. According to the company, the alternators are engineered to meet the performance demands of modern heavy duty vehicles, and are available in 150-, 160- and 200-amp versions for 12V systems.

“Our brushed alternators offer consistent, reliable performance under a wide variety of operating conditions, while also offering remarkable value for fleets looking to maximize their investment,” said Jonathan Smith, assistant director of aftermarket sales and marketing with LoadHandler Power Products. “Not only are they affordable, but their all-new construction means they are designed to last longer than competing remanufactured models.”

Each brushed design alternator from LoadHandler is available in J180 and pad mount configurations and includes a heavy-duty bearing, rectifier and diode for increased service life and optimal performance in extreme operating environments, the company said. LoadHandler 160-amp and 200-amp models also feature a Dual Internal Fan Design that increases service life by maintaining optimal bearing temperature during operation for minimal heat damage, the company added. Each alternator carries a one-year, parts-only warranty. Available models include:
