Meritor, PACCAR Extend Electrification Agreement

Meritor has announced an extension to its current PACCAR agreement to supply 14Xe ePowertrains and battery electric vehicle integration kits for theClass 8 Kenworth T680E, and Peterbilt 579EV tractors and 520EV refuse trucks. The integrated, modular design of the 14Xe ePowertrain, Power Controls and Accessories (PCAS) and Energy Storage System (ESS) helps enable PACCAR to meet the needs of its customers with high efficiency, performance and range depending on duty cycle and application requirements.

Located in Ecuador and operated by Indusur, TRP Manta is the milestone 300th store, and is located in an area known for heavy-duty transportation, with access to the seaport, the airport and one of the country's main highways. The company tells us that TRP Manta services a market of over 3,000 trucks manufactured around the world.
