CMA LLC announces retirement of Senior Vice President Walt Weller

Double Coin and CMA recently announced effective July 31, 2022, Walt Weller will retire from his role as Senior Vice President. Mr. Weller will serve as a consultant, working with CMA.

Mr. Weller’s retirement follows a tenure with the Company of more than 16 years, during which he was instrumental in growing the sales staff of National and Regional Sales managers from single to double digits, as well as expanding territories to Mexico and Central America developing a comprehensive business plan for the North American commercial market, expanding the number of points of sale to 2,000+, and dramatically improving the awareness of the Double Coin brand to make it one of the top 7 brands in the US commercial market by market share.

Prior to his role at CMA, Mr. Weller held senior management positions in sales, operations and marketing, at Bridgestone Firestone Tire Sales Company, American Tire and Service Stores, Bridgestone Firestone de Mexico, and Goodyear Tire and Rubber.  While at Bridgestone Firestone Sales Company, Walt spent almost 2 years working in the Tokyo headquarters of Bridgestone Corporation in the North American Division supporting the company’s transition efforts after the purchase of Firestone.

Mr. Weller’s tire industry career began with Michelin Tire Corporation in 1977.
