Webb has announced the launch of new UltraGrip air disc brake pads. Webb tells us their that these pads were designed around several applications, which is why they made them in three different levels. According to Webb, the performance characteristics of each formulation are matched to the intended use to improve wear properties, stopping power and rotor friendliness.

Here is how Webb describes the three levels:

• UltraGrip Plus: High-quality pads designed for a wide range of on-highway truck/trailer applications;
• UltraGrip Premium: Premium quality pads designed for a wide range of on-highway truck/trailer applications;
• UltraGrip Severe-Duty: Robust design suited for the most demanding applications.

Webb says that all levels of UltraGrip air disc brake pads have been dyno and fleet tested, are Level “N” Copper-Free Certified, ECE R90 Compliant and meet or exceed FMVSS-121 criteria. Webb adds that each pad option comes boxed as an axle set with the appropriate OEM grade hardware and color-coded to help identify them to ensure you always pull the right set when they are needed for service.
