New 17-ton Rotary pit lift released in Europe, Middle East, Africa

The lift can adjust to fit different pit sizes, while maintaining the ability to pick up, lift and support heavy-duty vehicles.

Vehicle Service Group (VSG), part of Dover, announced the launch of the Portal Lift 17 Vario, a new suspended pit lift under the Rotary brand in the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) region. The Portal Lift 17 Vario joins Rotary’s Blitz Series and has been engineered for heavy-duty use, with a capacity of 17 tons, according to the company.

The company highlights the following three features of the lift:

  • Turn three into one: a unique combination that enables you to pick up, lift and support any vehicle;
  • Fully adaptable to any pit: measuring the pit becomes a minor matter thanks to the adjustable chassis; and
  • Ergonomic control: wired remote control of the lifting operations.

Florida Pneumatic Manufacturing Corp. has released two new models of Aircat Air Hydraulic Riveters (AHR). The 6410 3/16-in. AHR features 2,000 lbs. of pull force and is designed to handle both 5/32-in. and 3/16-in. steel and aluminum structural rivets, as well as 3/16-in. Monobolts, the company said. The 6420 1/4-in. AHR, meanwhile, has 3,700 lbs. of pull force and can handle both 3/16-in. and 1/4-in. steel and aluminum structural rivets, along with 3/16-in. and 1/4-in. Monobolts.
