Shell Lubricants Announces 2007 Shell Technology Tour Technology Tour To Educate Fleet Customers Nationwide

Shell Lubricants has announced the launch of the second annual Shell Technology Tour.

Shell Lubricants has announced the launch of the second annual Shell Technology Tour. The tour is a multimedia conference that will visit ten cities and is designed to update fleet customers about the latest industry developments including: bio-diesel fuels, ULSD (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel) fuel updates, 2007 equipment changes and maintenance considerations, API CJ-4 lubricants and synthetic oils updates and unique Shell fleet services, including Lube VideoCheck and the Shell Fleet Management Program. The cross-country tour will educate hundreds of fleet professionals about the upcoming changes and expectations in new equipment maintenance procedures and intervals.

“The Shell Technology Tour provides Shell Lubricants with a great opportunity to reach the fleet community and educate them about important industry changes that may impact their business,” said Walt Silveira, U.S. Technical Manager, Shell Lubricants. “Meeting face-to-face with customers provides Shell with an opportunity to deliver critical industry information and communicate solution services that can help improve their business.”

The audience at the Shell Technology Tour will be comprised of fleet professionals, including maintenance managers, service managers, mechanics and those responsible for equipment operation and maintenance. During the Shell Technology Tour, Shell Lubricants distributors and sales representatives will be on hand to interact with attendees and address any questions.
