EnKon Systems, Herkules Equipment Corp.’s brand name of lift systems, is offering the EnKon zero-level post lift. The post lift, the company notes, offers an alternative to fork lift truck use in freight facilities. The electric-hydraulic post lift’s platform can be customized to fit pallet jacks, industrial carts and carts with narrow casters that typical scissor lifts cannot manage. Operators can easily load material onto the zero-level platform in order to raise the material to a proper working level, according to the manufacturer, so dock workers and drivers are more productive and experience fewer injuries. A manually released Cam-lock system, optional for every EnKon post lift, prevents the lift platform from free falling. The capacity of the EnKon zero-level post lift is up to 3,000 lbs. and it has a vertical travel range from 24 to 120 in.
EnKon has also unveiled the E-Series electric belt drive scissor lift Table that provides a high duty cycle, static positioning, and repeatability. The patented scissor lift utilizes the company’s latest technology, including a mechatronics drive system using a single belt, multi-pulley design, powered by a standard 480 volts 3 phase gear motor. The 40-in. wide by 59-in. long lift holds a static position to +/- .06 in. indefinitely, can handle 120,000-plus duty cycles in a year, and has a capacity of up to 2,000 lbs. The LSBD04, the manufacturer adds, integrates with conveyors and robotics in advance manufacturing systems, and is ideal for clean room applications since there is no need for hydraulic fluid.
