IPA updates Alpha Mutt with new technology, built-in battery option

Each unit includes IPA’s patented diagnostic technology for remote-controlled light, air brake and ABS testing.

Innovative Products of America (IPA) has introduced the Alpha Mutt with ABS Bench-Top Model (part no. 5510A-L4) trailer tester.

Each unit includes IPA’s diagnostic technology for remote-controlled light, air brake and ABS testing, a tri-mount handle design, and a built-in LiFeP04 battery.

The Alpha Mutt with ABS Bench-Top Model offers readouts and results for circuit status and faults, voltage, current and wattage, ABS diagnostics, air pressure readings and leakdown tests, the company notes. IPA says that users can expect to get 10 to 20 trailer inspections per battery charge.
