Kenworth introduced a remote keyless entry system as an option for the Kenworth T680 and T880. Kenworth’s remote keyless entry provides two key fobs programmed to lock and unlock the doors.

Operators can use a single click to unlock the driver’s side door and a double click to unlock both cab doors, the company said. Operators can click the lock button once to lock both cab doors. The key fob also has a third button that allows operators to enable and disable the pre-trip light check without entering the cab.

The remote keyless entry system also can be retrofitted on existing Kenworth T680 and T880 vehicles with a retrofit kit available from your Kenworth dealer, the truck manufacturer noted.
