Kenworth Truck Co. has announced that it will discontinue the T660 line of trucks, effective at the end of 2016. There have been more than 60,000 T660s sold since its introduction in 2007. The company will produce one last line of 500 T660 trucks in December for those interested.
“It’s been a great 10-year run for [the T660], but ultimately the market has spoken, and with the T680 being 55% of our production today, it’s time to say goodbye to such a great truck,” said Jason Skoog, Kenworth’s assistant general manager for sales and marketing.
