Glacier Bay now offers a space saving battery box for its ClimaCab electric auxiliary power unit (APU), which reduces the number of components outside the cab by 25%, allowing truck operators to take up less space on the crowded frame rails of a vehicle. This option also makes the system easier to install and service.

The unit’s components include an electrical cord; a junction box with relays, fuses and circuit breakers; a 30-amp battery charger; and a 120V AC ground fault circuit interrupt receptacle for the vehicle’s interior.
