Chevron oils meet Cat specs

Chevron Products Co. announced its API CJ-4 and API CI-4 PLUS heavy-duty diesel engine oils meet the new Caterpillar ECF-2 specification. As of March 1, 2007, Caterpillar recommends the use of ECF-2 for pre-2007 on-road and any off-road Caterpillar engines no bigger than the C3500.
