Shell seeks Virtual SuperRigs entries

For truckers who believe they have a Shell Rotella SuperRigs-worthy truck but aren't able to attend the 30th anniversary event in Joplin, Mo., the company has added a Virtual SuperRigs contest.

For truckers who believe they have a Shell Rotella SuperRigs-worthy truck but aren’t able to attend the 30th anniversary event in Joplin, Mo., May 17-19, the company has added the new Virtual SuperRigs contest, which offers a $500 cash prize.

To enter, visit www.rotella.com and click on the “Virtual SuperRigs” link to start the process. All truckers have to do is upload a picture of their great-looking working truck to be eligible, then tell their friends to vote for their rig. The truck with the most votes when voting ends on Friday, May 11, will be the $500 winner. The winning rig owner also will be rewarded My Miles Matter reward program points.

Castrol has partnered with Safety-Kleen to launch ‘Castrol MoreCircular,’ a national program designed to reduce the carbon footprint of U.S.-based business lubricants. The company explains that ‘MoreCircular’ encompasses the entire process of collecting used oil from business customers, re-refining it and integrating re-refined base oil (RRBO) into premium lubricants for supply to businesses.
