Trucking veterans launch Spangenberg Partners

Trucking veterans launch new technology-focused company

Recently launched and headed up by husband and wife team Glynn and Lisa Spangenberg, Spangenberg Partners will provide the transportation aftermarket technology sector with sales representation, according to the company.

“The role that technology plays in trucking is huge and every year we see technology firms come and go,” Glynn stated. “Sometimes they don’t make it because the product or management was just not a good fit for trucking but quite often they don’t make it because they didn’t have the ability to rapidly immerse into the industry. Our job at Spangenberg Partners will be to first make sure these products are right for trucking and then help them sell their products in a rapid and efficient manner.”

“As simple as it sounds,” Lisa added, “our focus is on trucking technologies that either save lives or reduce costs. We’re going to champion the most excellent technologies that we can find to help the industry achieve real ROI and cash flow improvements, period.”

Prior to Spangenberg Partners, Glynn worked in management roles at Qualcomm, PeopleNet and most recently as president of Trimble T&L Innovations. Lisa also carries a membership in such trucking organizations as Women in Trucking. Spangenberg noted that the combined team brings over 30 years of trucking technology sales experience to the new venture.
